"Fairytales"talks about loneliness and our endless need for love, but also gives hope in the C part by saying that we can overcome the sadness and darkness. Our darkest moments can become our best stories in life, and even though no knight in shiny armor will come to save the day - it’s never too late to save ourselves.
“Fairytales” features collaborative musical elements from amazing musicians, including the guitarist Yahel Doron from the famous Israeli folk rock duo Guy & Yahel, and the violinist Joni Fuller who works with well known producers who also produced Oasis, Keane and many more
Most of us know that there is a stage in life, where you conclude you need to live in a world ruled by realism over idealism, but there always will be a part of every single one of us inside our heart that won’t give up on the idealistic world - and this is our best part. We all want, deep inside, the same boundless love, and get our happily ever after - but most of us miss out the people that can make us happy by not revealing what is truly in our heart.
lyrics
This is a story about a princess without a name
About a fairy who lost her way
About a prince that was never there… (Oh no)
She went to the forest to eat some blueberries
And she dropped to the ground and the prince never came,
never came
Where do the all happy endings go?
All the princesses that are lost?
Where can anybody find some peace in this big world
that is so mean? So mean…
A world without princes, a world without love
A world without something good from above
What can we do? Oh no (Oh no)
The fairy had a dream to save the world
But she let the world convince her she was too small
for this big, wide world…
Where do the all happy endings go?
All the princesses that are lost?
Where can anybody find some peace in this big world
that is so mean? So mean…
Leave the darkness behind and find your own strength in time
Lights in the sky, they shine, and tell us about hope
Tears on the ground, they fall,
fist through the wall, but nothing’s wrong
This could turn out to be your favorite story
Where do the all happy endings go?
All the princesses that are lost?
Where can anybody find some peace in this big world
that is so mean? So mean
